Socio-Ecological Transformation
Creator: Azra Kadic

The FES Dialogue Southeast Europe aims to address social challenges in climate and energy policy in the region. Climate change represents perhaps the biggest social challenge of the 21st century, as the issue is closely related to a good quality of life for all and a sustainable transformation of energy production. Social issues and ecological concerns are deeply interconnected. The FES globally advocates for a wide-reaching socio-ecological transformation, which would enable a higher quality of life for all while respecting the limitations of our planet's resources.

Our activities intend to contribute to a social-democratic understanding of climate and energy policies along these lines, through different levels of engagement. Together with its partners throughout the region, the FES intends to strengthen the notion of crucial social challenges and raise awareness for the need of sustainable and just energy and climate policies.
