Open Call for Interns

This call is open to all students who meet the following criteria:

• Student of political science, international relations, or related fields of study
• Proficiency in English at least B2 level in speaking and writing (mandatory); Knowledge of German or local languages (B/H/S) is not required but will be considered an advantage
• Interest in political and social developments in Southeast Europe, with a particular focus on EU Enlargement and related topics
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); a high level of digital literacy and experience with additional digital tools is desirable
• We expect teamwork skills, flexibility, personal responsibility, reliability, and willingness to travel for work purposes 

Tasks:

• Researching political, social, and economic issues in Southeast Europe
• Assisting in the organization and implementation of events, workshops, and conferences at various locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Participating in the preparation of reports, studies, and publications
• Assisting with public relations activities, including updating social media channels and the website
• Handling simple administrative tasks
• Supporting daily office activities and project coordination

• A short video (up to 3 minutes) in English introducing yourself and explaining your interest in an internship at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation

Please note that:

• The Foundation is not responsible for providing accommodation during the internship in Sarajevo.
• The exact duration and start date of the internship are subject to agreement between the selected applicants and the Foundation.
