Call for Applicants: Social-democratic Regional Women's Leadership Academy

The Academy aims to bring Western Balkan women politicians and activists together in a broad front to fight for an equal, developed, responsible society, based on European values of peace and prosperity - a women-friendly society.

Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, office in Belgrade, in cooperation with Women’s Leadership Academy (Serbia), organizes a political educational program aimed towards women from socialdemocratic political parties and organizations in the Western Balkans. The Academy program this year consists of two events, 3-day seminars, in Belgrade, from 17. to 20. September 2020, and from 15. to 18. October.

"Regional Women’s Leadership Academy is a unique program for female activists from left political parties, movements, civil society organizations and trade unions in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia. We inspire and move women’s leadership based on the values of law, equality, and solidarity. We offer new knowledge and skills that are a base of the future success of our participants. We connect and encourage joint women’s work for peace, good neighborliness, regional cooperation, and development."

The Academy is supported by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the FES Regional Dialogue Southeast Europe.
